FC Cincinnati News Release

CINCINNATI, OH --- With a 2016 United Soccer League playoff berth already secured, FC Cincinnati is inviting fans to mark their calendars for a potential home playoff fixture and familiarize themselves with the following procedures to purchase tickets.

Should FCC host a playoff contest, the match will be played Sun., Oct. 2 at Nippert Stadium with the game kicking off at 4:00 p.m.

"Every team competes with the goal of reaching the playoffs," commented FCC President and General Manager, Jeff Berding. "It's an exciting time and if we continue to play good soccer, we hopefully will be hosting a post-season match at Nippert. With the fantastic crowds we have seen in our first year, we'd like to encourage our supporters to secure their seats in advance. We want all our fans to be part of what would be an electric atmosphere for our players and another historic event for our franchise."

2016 FCC season ticket holders will be allowed to purchase their existing ticket locations for all home playoff matches and will be allotted an exclusive priority purchase window to secure their seats and add additional seats in advance. All season ticket holders will be invited to log on to their online accounts to purchase seats or can contact FCC directly at 513-977-KICK. Season ticket holders will also be able to declare their "intent to purchase" for succeeding 2016 home playoff matches at that time.

Once the priority window has expired, 2017 season ticket deposit holders will be next in line to secure playoff tickets based on availability. FCC is currently accepting $50 deposits for the club's second season and can be initiated by visiting fccincinnati.com.

As deposit holders' playoff ticket purchases have been finalized, FCC will release all available seats to the general public and remaining supporters will be invited to secure tickets online or by phone.

Information on playoff ticket prices and priority purchase windows will be announced later this month.

FCC, which recently launched the ticket renewal process, has already secured renewals for 1,000 season tickets for the 2017 season. For information on tickets, contact the FCC sales team or visit fccincinnati.com/tickets.

As announced in early August, season ticket pricing will remain largely consistent next year. FCC will host 17 home games, including 16 USL contests and an exhibition match.
