WINNIPEG, MB., August 6th, 2014 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Saskatchewan Roughriders this Thursday night at Investors Group Field! Here's everything you need to know about the game this week.

STANDINGS:

Bombers (5 wins-1 loss), 1st place in the West Division. The Bombers defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last week, 27-26.

Riders (3 wins-2 losses), tied for 3rd place in the West Division. The Roughriders defeated the Ottawa REDBLACKS last week, 38-14.

CFL ACCOLADES: For the 2nd time in six weeks, Bombers QB Drew Willy was named CFL Offensive Player of the Week this week, for his performance in the Bombers' victory over the Ti-Cats last week. Willy completed 31 of 43 passes, for 361 yards and one touchdown in that win. He also engineered - for the second time in the last four games - a last minute, game winning drive, culminating in a touchdown pass, this time to running back Nic Grigsby. Willy is the first Bombers QB to receive this honour twice in the same year since Buck Pierce in 2011.

STATS & FACTS:

- QB Drew Willy currently sits second in league passing yardage with 1,662, only 25 yards behind Argos quarterback Ricky Ray.

- K Lirim Hajrullahu has made 15-of-16 FG attempts for a 94% success rate (#1 in the CFL). The last time a rookie kicker led the CFL in FG% was in 2007 when Nick Setta (East Division M/O Rookie) led with 85. The last Winnipeg kicker to lead the CFL in FG% was Trevor Kennerd in 1983 (80%).

- LB Ian Wild is the one of the CFL's elite defenders and among the most versatile. He has recorded 15 defensive tackles and another 6 on special teams. Overall he has been on the field 400+ times in 2014 and has taken ZERO penalties.

- RB Nic Grigsby is currently second in the CFL in rushing with 343 yards, leading the CFL in carries with 80, and is second among tailbacks with 23 receptions.
