
Fantastic Fans Help Rock Cats Set Another Weekend Attendance Mark

New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats set a new 3-Game-Weekend Attendance milestone today when a crowd of 6,294 - the 14th Sellout of 2010 in the Hardware City - passed through the New Britain Stadium turnstiles, meaning that a total of 22,282 fans watched the Rock Cats battle the Portland Sea Dogs over this June 25-27 Weekend.
The individual crowds comprising this latest franchise record were 7,491 (Friday night), 8,497 (Saturday night), and today's 6,294.
The new mark eclipses the previous New Britain Stadium record that was set earlier this month when 22,004 fans were entertained over the Weekend of June 4-6 as the Rock Cats hosted the Binghamton Mets.
