Fans select final two spots on 2014 CPL All-Star rosters

The Coastal Plain League announced today that the final two spots for the 2014 CPL All-Star Game will be determined by fan vote.
There are five candidates for the final designated hitter/utility spot in the East and in the West. Fans will have 24 hours to vote (ending at 10 a.m. Friday) and the candidate with the most votes at the end of that period will be named Friday when the All-Star teams are announced at 12 p.m.
The five candidates in the East are:
Jason Blum (Fayetteville and Southeast Missouri State)
Justin Novak (Petersburg and Virginia)
Kyle Carroll (Morehead City and Jefferson College)
Michael Montville (Wilmington and Maryland)
Sam Tidabeck (Peninsula and Ball State)
The five candidates in the West are:
Rouric Bridgewater (Asheboro and Grand Canyon)
Devin Wenzel (Forest City and Cincinnati)
JD Crowe (Columbia and Francis Marion)
Steven Pallares (Forest City and San Diego State)
Jared Allen (HPThomasville and Middle Tennessee State)

About the Coastal Plain League:
The Coastal Plain League is the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 18th season in 2014, the CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts.
