Wisconsin Rapids Rafters News Release
Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. - Alternate jersey nights are a staple of the Rafters' promotional schedule every year, and 2016 will once again feature a Turn Back The Clock Night presented by Fey Printing on Tuesday, June 28th. Through the team's social media accounts and website, Rafters fans were able to vote on two design options last week. Choices included a design featuring the colors and logo of the Wisconsin Rapids Twins and one highlighting the Wisconsin Rapids Senators.
The powder blue and red jersey design of the Wisconsin Rapids Twins emerged victorious after a week of voting. Jerseys worn by the Rafters players and coaches will be available through a silent auction during the game on June 28th with the proceeds benefitting the South Wood Emergency Pantry Shelf (SWEPS). Located at 331 12th Avenue South in Wisconsin Rapids, the SWEPS provides emergency food for those in need in the greater Wisconsin Rapids area.
The home opener for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters is June 1st at 7:05 against the Green Bay Bullfrogs. Solarus Founders Club, bleacher 9-Game ticket packages, and group outing packages are on sale now. Call 715-424-5400 or stop by the Rafters Front Office Monday-Friday from 9-5 to purchase a ticket package or book a group outing.
