The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are excited to kick-off the 2009 season with Fan Fest on Saturday, May 2 from 10-3 at Eastwood Field. This is the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for the 2009 season. The Scrappers will also be looking for performers. We will be holding open try-outs for National Anthem singers during Fan Fest from 10:00AM -2:00PM

Promotional Schedule Released

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers have announced their promotional schedule for the 2009 season. It is highlighted by new weekly promotions focused on added value for the fans, as well as fireworks,giveaways and celebrity appearances.

"In designing our promotional schedule, our main focus was providing the community more value for less money with affordable options for each night of the week," stated Scrappers General Manager, Dave Smith

Eastwood Field Set For Skills Competition

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will host a free Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Competition for area youth on May 2nd, 2009 at 11:00 AM.

Pitch, Hit & Run is the Official Skills Competition of Major League Baseball. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball skills.
