Fan Favorite Alberga Returning for Third Season

Norfolk, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, and forward Domenic Alberga have agreed to terms for the 2018-19 season.
Alberga returns for his third season with the Admirals. Last season the forward set career highs across the board in games played (72), goals (15), assists (22), and points (37).
"It was an easy decision for me to come back. Norfolk has become like a second home to me," Alberga said. "The fans and area are second to none. I'm looking forward to being back."
The Maple, ONT native turned pro at the end of the 2014-15 season appearing in 13 games with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. In three full professional seasons, Alberga has skated in 194 ECHL games netting 93 points (39g, 54a). He spent two seasons playing collegiately at Ryerson University in Toronto before joining the professional ranks.
"Having been around Norfolk the last few seasons I think I can really help the young guys adapt to the pro game," said Alberga. "I like the challenge of having to take on a bigger leadership role and I'm looking forward to it."
