Fan Appreciation Night
August 24, 2007 - Golden Baseball League (GBL)
Reno Silver Sox News Release
The Reno Silver Sox are proud to announce that Fan Appreciation Night is TOMORROW NIGHT! And it is going to be a very exciting day for everyone at Peccole Park.
First, all fans will be able to enjoy not just one, but two games against the Orange County Flyers. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. followed by the second game a half hour after the first game ends. Both games will be seven innings.
Second, during the break between the two games, Manager Les Lancaster will present his 2007 Player Awards; Most Valubale Player, Most Valubale Pitcher, and Rookie of the Year.
Third, right after the Player Awards, the six finalists for the Bill Pearce Ball Toss will come back onto the field after being chosen on Friday, to see who actually gets the chance to try and win the Honda Ridgeline courtesy of Bill Pearce Motors.
Finally, after the conclusion of both games, fireworks, presented by the Reno Silver Sox, will light up the night sky. Our way of thanking our loyal Silver Sox fans for supporting us this summer and the entire 2007 season.
This is one day you do not want to miss. So make sure to get your tickets early by visiting the Silver Sox ticket booth before the game.
