Falcons to Help "Step Out Diabetes"

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that the team will participate in Fresno's "Step Out Diabetes" Walk on Saturday, October 13.

Falcons' players and staff members will participate in this year's walk, which takes place at Woodward Park. Registration beings at the group activity area of the park at 9:00 a.m., and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m. Fans can pledge their support toward steeping out diabetes by clicking on the link on the Falcons' web site at www.fresnofalcons.com.

The Falcons open the 2007-08 season on Friday, October 19, hosting the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:30 p.m. for an Opening Night Extravaganza, presented by Eye Q Vision Care. The first 1,000 kids 12 and under receive a replica Falcons' jersey.
