Falcons Release Beskorowany

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons announced today that the team has released goaltender Tyler Beskorowany by mutual consent.

The 25-year-old Beskorowany will return to the German Elite League (DEL) after starting in two games with the Falcons this season going 0-2-0 with a 3.55 goals against average (GAA) and a .885 save percentage (SV%). The 6-foot-5, 205-pound native of Sudbury, ON played in 42 games with Duesseldorf EG last year going 26-15-0 with a 2.53 GAA and a .923 SV%. Beskorowany was originally drafted by the Dallas Stars in the second round (59th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
