
Falcons Announce New Home Opener and Preseason Schedule

Springfield,Mass. - The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League today announced that the team will host its 2005-06 regular season home opener at the MassMutual Center on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:05 p.m. The opponent is yet to be determined. The Falcons previously announced a different date for their home opener, but the team's schedule has changed as a result of the NHL's new Collective Bargaining Agreement and the league's new schedule.
The Falcons also announced a new preseason schedule. The club will play two preseason games both of which will be played at the MassMutual Center. The Falcons will host the Providence Bruins on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:35 p.m. and the Hartford Wolf Pack on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 5:00 p.m. Tickets for the preseason games will be $8.00 each.
The Falcons' complete 2005-06 schedule will be announced soon.
