Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons, AHL affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced on Wednesday that they have hired three people to join their front office staff heading into the organization's 20th Anniversary Season.

The Falcons have added Josh Tannenbaum as Manager of Media and Community Relations, Luke Pawlak as Coordinator of Creative Services and Game Presentation, and Jamie Gruschow as an Account Executive.

"We are excited to welcome three promising and hard-working individuals to our front office," Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon said. "Josh, Luke, and Jamie will each bring new ideas to the organization that will further enhance the experience of attending Falcons games."

Tannenbaum will oversee the Falcons' media and community relations efforts. He joins the organization after spending the past two seasons as the Director of Communications for the Central Hockey League's Fort Worth Brahmas. Prior to his stint in Fort Worth, Tannenbaum attended Indiana University, majoring in journalism with a second concentration in kinesiology. Tannenbaum is from New York City where he has held various internships, including one in the finance department of the National Hockey League. His new role was most recently held by Eric Levine, who moved into the Falcons' corporate outreach department as Coordinator of Business Development in June.

Pawlak, a native of New Britain, Conn., will be responsible for organizing and executing the Falcons' game-night operations and will direct the club's creative services department. He worked as Production Director and Creative Services Coordinator for the New Britain Rock Cats for the last seven years while also overseeing the production room for the University of Hartford basketball program. Pawlak studied at Central Connecticut State University.

Gruschow, who will work in the club's ticket sales department, recently graduated from American International College with a degree in business administration along with a concentration in sports and recreation management. During her senior year in 2012-13, Gruschow interned with the Falcons' game-day operations staff, helping to provide fans with a fun and engaging experience at the MassMutual Center. Gruschow also served as the Web Manager of a women's lacrosse club while in college, helping to execute marketing and public relations campaigns for the recruitment of new players and to facilitate player development opportunities.
