Irina Falconi punctuates a point in Wednesday's 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 upset win over 14th-seeded Dominika Cibulkova.
Instead, the 21-year-old will keep up her energetic pace with two doubles matches. Falconi and Edina Gallovits-Hall are competing against Alona Bondarenko and Kateryna Bodarenko of the Ukraine on Court 8. On Court 9, Falconi and Steve Johnson will cap the night on Court 9 with a mixed doubles match against Andrea Hlavackova and Horia Tecau. On Saturday night, Falconi will attempt to knock off another seeded opponent, No. 22 Sabine Lisicki of Germany. Falconi - a late season addition to the Boston Lobsters - beat WTT Finals MVP Arina Rodionova of the Washington Kastles in the only two times they faced each other.
