Fairbanks Grizzlies Partner With Local Community Food Banks

Fairbanks, AK. 5.17.10. The Fairbanks Grizzlies are pleased to announce in junction with the Fairbanks Community Food Bank "Canned Food Night" for this weekends game against the Billings Outlaws.

The Fairbanks Community Food Banks collects and redistributes donated food to individuals and agencies. Food is distributed through many programs including Food Boxes, Bone Builders, and Agency Shopping. The Fairbanks Community Food Bank makes a difference in the lives of neighbors by sharing resources that are provided by residents of Fairbanks.

In an effort to help raise resources for the Fairbanks Community Food Bank, the Fairbanks Grizzlies are having a ticket special for this weekend's game. This Saturday, fans will be able to bring (2) cans of food to the Carlson Center and receive a coupon that will allow them to purchase a general admission ticket for $10.00. In addition to purchasing tickets this weekend, members of the Fairbanks Grizzlies football team, Dance team and front office will be at the following supportive business locations throughout the week collecting and food donations in addition to selling the discounted tickets.

Wednesday- May 19th from 5pm-7pm at Pagoda in North Pole

Thursday- May 20th from 5pm-7pm at Arctic Home Living in Fairbanks

Friday- May 21st from 6pm-8pm at Xaviers in Fairbanks injunction with their Friday night tailgate party

The Fairbanks Grizzlies would like to remind all fans that Season Tickets are on sale and available at the Carlson Center, Ticket Master outlets, or at the Fairbanks Grizzlies office. For information, call the Grizzlies office at 452-5123 for more information.
