BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - Bloomington Extreme Kicker, Peter Christofilakos, has been named the IFL Vidswap.com Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 12.
Christofilakos helped lead the Extreme to a 33-30 win over the Divisional rival Chicago Slaughter on May 14 by connecting on a 31 yard field goal with :02 seconds remaining in the game. For the game, Christofilakos was 4 for 5 on field goal attempts, connecting from 11, 23, 25, and 31 yards out to go along with 3 PAT's on 3 attempts.
On the season, Christofilakos is 5th in the IFL amongst kickers with 13 field goals and 6th in the league in extra point percentage with 32 makes in 38 attempts. Christofilakos is the leader in games played and total points in Bloomington Extreme history and has twice been named as the League's First Team Kicker.
