"This signing along with all the other signings that have been announced in the Indoor Football League just shows the direction this league is going. This signing is huge for our Bloomington Extreme great fan base as we continue to set our standards on the field to a higher level," says Bloomington Extreme General Manager Bart Rogers. "Agents continue to tell us their players want to play the indoor game as close to the standard game as possible. The gimmicks that other leagues operate under are not attractive for their clients which is evident by the talent our teams in this league have signed and will continue to sign in the weeks ahead."

"Obviously we are extremely lucky to get a guy of this caliber and talent," Extreme Head Coach Kenton Carr said. "He was an outstanding player, who put up large numbers at Florida State University and played six seasons in the highest level of football in the world, the National Football League. He wants to get back on the field for a competitive team and show what he still has. Peter was one of my favorite players to watch playing at FSU and now as you can imagine, will be a blast calling plays for him and our other top notch signed receivers this season."

"This signing will spur great interest in our game and product around Central Illinois," Rogers said. "The talent we have signed will be a whole lot of fun for our staff to market around, Coaches to coach and our fans to watch all season long at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. We have a fun, affordable product that we are excited to show off on March 7th!"
