Extreme Add to Offensive Unit

BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme has added Quarterback Ryan O'Hara along with massive Offensive Lineman Jerome Springfield and Ryan Cue to their 2010 offensive unit.

Ryan O'Hara, 6'6" 235 lbs. - Quarterback that began his collegiate career at the University of Arizona, played in four games as a Red Shirt Freshman against UTEP, LSU, Oregon, and Purdue.

Ryan transferred to Scottsdale Community College to be closer to his brother who needed a kidney transplant due to multiple cystic kidney disease.

While at Scottsdale Community College, Ryan was named as the first-team All-Conference quarterback.

O'Hara spent his final two years of college eligibility at Central Oklahoma, where he played 19 games, accumulating 3,045 yards on 256 completions in 496 attempts to go along with 17 TDs.

Last season, while playing in just 8 games with the Central Valley Coyotes of the AF2, O'Hare connected on 99 of 173 passes for 1127 yards and 25 touchdowns including 7 touchdown passes in one game.

Jerome Springfield, 6'8" 350 lbs. - Offensive Lineman from the University of South Florida was the number three rated high school offensive lineman in the state of Florida according to Scouts.com his senior year.

The highly recruited Springfield spent two years at South Florida, one year as a starting tackle.

Last season, the mammoth offensive lineman played for the San Angelo Stampede Express of the IFL.

Ryan Cue, 6'1" 330 lbs. - Offensive Lineman started 40 games while playing at Wayne State University.

As a freshman, Cue started 10 games at Center.

He was redshirted his second year there, prior to becoming the starting left guard during his sophomore season of eligibility, helping the team to rush for an average of over 200 yards per game.

Cue earned third team All-Northwestern Region honors along with All-GLIA Conference second team honors.

Cue started 10 games at left guard as junior as the team averaged over 220 yards rushing per game.

As a senior, Cue started 9 games at left guard.

Cue was a 3A All-State 1st team member while helping to lead his Davie, FL, Pace High School team to the 3A State Championship.

Cue was a District Wrestling Champion while in high school.

O'Hara is a big, athletic quarterback with a strong arm and good mobility with experience against top level talent as well as experience in the indoor game.

Springfield is very athletic, with good feet for a player of his size and Ryan Cue is a strong offensive lineman with a thick base and constant motor." added Head Coach Kenton Carr.

The Bloomington Extreme will play seven home games at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in 2010. The regular season kicks off March 6 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum as the Extreme will host the expansion Richmond (VA.) Revolution. The 2010 Extreme finished with a 10-5 record, making their third straight playoff appearance in the franchises four year history.
