Round Rock Express News Release
ROUND ROCK, Texas â The Round Rock Express will play the New Orleans Zephyrs April 3rd and 4th in a pair of exhibition games that serve as a preview of the Express' move to Triple-A in 2005.
The April 3rd game will be in Round Rock, with the second game in New Orleans.
The April 3rd match-up of the Houston Astros' Double-A and Triple-A affiliates will also be Dollar Day at The Dell Diamond. All individual tickets will be one dollar. The game will be free for all season and Fireworks-Plus ticket holders.
The new Home Run Porch is also on track to be completed for the game. The leftfield Porch will add approximately 800 seats to The Dell Diamond and will give hitters a new target to try to reach. Six new luxury suites are also planned to be unveiled.
The Zephyrs will also likely feature several players that were in Round Rock last year, giving fans one last chance to see them play.
Additionally, while the two teams may not be rivals now, they will be the following year. The cities will likely be in the same division when Round Rock joins the Pacific Coast League in 2005.
The Round Rock game will start at 7:05 p.m.
