The Windsor Express announced Tuesday they have signed center Nick Evans.
Evans, 6-foot-11, 240 pounds, played 10 games with the Express during the 2013-14 season before an injury sidelined him. He finished the remainder of that season with the Island Storm.
A veteran of four NBL Canada seasons, Evans split last season with the Island Storm and the London Lightning. In 19 games with the Storm, Evans averaged 12.6 points and 7.6 rebounds in 28.5 minutes.
Evans began the 2016-17 season playing for the Lugano Tigers (Swiss LNA) in Switzerland. Evans averaged 5.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 15.0 minutes in 2 games with Lugano.
Evans is a native of Carbondale, Illinois and played two seasons in the NCAA for Southern Illinois University.
