Express Sign 2016 MVP Logan Stutz

(Windsor, ON) - The Windsor Express announced Thursday that the team has officially signed forward Logan Stutz.
Stutz, 6-foot-6, 220 pounds, was named the 2016 NBL Canada Most Valuable Player as a member of the Niagara River Lions. His MVP season saw Stutz lead the team in scoring (21.1 points per game) and rebounds (9.0 per game). He finished second in the league in both those categories.
This season with Niagara, Stutz has played just 15 games due to injury and is averaging 11.2 points and 6.6 rebounds in 22 minutes per game. Niagara released Stutz earlier this month.
Stutz will be signed as the IR designate for Erik Parker, who will be placed on injured reserve.
