(LONDON, ON)- The Windsor Express (21-18) finished their regular season on the road against Central Division Rivals, the London Lightning (25-14). The Express finished the regular season with a loss on the road, 113-107.

Brandon Robinson starts the Express off on the right foot with a one handed slam. From there, it was a solid defensive effort that gave the Express a 32-25 lead after the first quarter.

The second quarter did not start the same way as the first. A 10-2 run by London put them ahead 37-35 in the first two minutes. In the last two minutes of the quarter, Sherron Collins brought the score back within one after a three, 54-53. Windsor went into halftime down 60-57.

The Express were looking to catch up to the Lightning in the second half, after giving up a lead during the second quarter. Kirk Williams Jr brought the score within 1, 65-64 after hitting a three. As soon as the Express were catching up, the Lightning would respond, and create a bigger gap between the score. The Lightning finished the third quarter with a 87-80 advantage.

Ryan Anderson hit a deep three to open up the final quarter of the game, and extend London's lead to 10, 90-80. Maurice Bolden was able to bring the score to 108-105 after a fast break alley oop in the last three minutes of the game. However, Windsor found themselves in foul trouble, sending London to the line four times. Stephen Maxwell seals the win for London after hitting both of his shots at the charity stripe, 113-107.

Brandon Robinson put up a game high 27 points.

Kirk Williams Jr added 20 points of his own.

Shaquille Keith was close to a double double, putting up 16 points and 9 rebounds.

Stephen Maxwell led the Lightning with 24 points. He added 15 boards for the double double.

Warren Ward and Akeem Wright each contributed 20 points in the win.

The Windsor Express will start a best of five series against the Niagara River Lions on Monday, May 2nd at The WFCU Centre for a 7:30pm game start.

Game 2 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4th at The WFCU Centre for a 7:30pm game start.
