
Expos recall RHP Sunny Kim, option LHP Anthony Ferrari to Triple-A Edmonton

The Montreal Expos today recalled right-handed pitcher Sunny Kim from Triple-A Edmonton and optioned left-handed pitcher Anthony Ferrari to Edmonton. Vice President and General Manger Omar Minaya made the announcement.
Kim will make his second start of the season for the Expos tomorrow (Saturday) vs. Toronto. The 25-year-old made his 2003 big league debut for the Expos in Puerto Rico on June 4 vs. Anaheim and took the loss, allowing six runs on eight hits in 4.1 innings. Kim, who was acquired from Boston in the deal that sent Cliff Floyd to Boston, was 5-4 with a 4.13 ERA in 12 starts for the Trappers at the time of the promotion. He was 0-1 with a 1.38 ERA (2 ER/13.0 IP) in a pair of starts since rejoining Edmonton on June 5.
Ferrari, 24, went 0-0 with a 6.75 ERA (3 ER/4.0 IP) in four games out of the bullpen for the Expos.
