
Expos Outright Third Baseman Scott Hodges to Edmonton

The Montreal Expos today recalled third baseman Scott Hodges from a rehab assignment with Single-A Brevard County. The Expos then reinstated Hodges from the 15-Day Disabled List and outrighted his contract to Triple-A Edmonton. Vice President/General Manager Omar Minaya made the announcements.
Hodges, 25, was placed on the 15-Day Disabled List with a right quadriceps strain on April 3. He went 2-for-9 with 2 RBI in two games during his rehab assignment with Brevard County of the Florida State League.
