USHL Saturday Night Rewind
Waterloo 4, Des Moines 1

Waterloo scored four first-period goals and held on the rest of the way to claim a 4-1 road win at Des Moines Saturday.
Tallying goals in the opening 20 minutes for the Black Hawks were Nicholas Fascia, Gavyn Thoreson, John Mustard and Myles Hilman.
Waterloo netminder Calvin Vachon, who stopped 32 shots in the game, limited the Buccaneers to a third-period power play goal from Owen West at 4:30.
Fargo 4, Sioux City 1

Fargo remained unbeaten in regulation home games on the year with a 4-1 victory over visiting Sioux City Saturday.
Zam Plante's 13th goal of the season, which came at 5;15 of the opening period, got the ball rolling for the Force. Kaden Shahan, who leads the USHL in goals, tallied his 18th of the year at 7:51 to tie the game, but when Jake Fisher scored at 8:30, Fargo headed to the locker room at the end of the first leading 2-1.
A Tom Leppa power play goal at 1:06 of the third gave the Force a two-goal cushion and Mac Swanson's empty-netter at 18:18 put the game out of reach as Fargo upped its home record to 8-0-1-0 and its overall record to a league-best 18-2-1-0.
Hampton Slukynsky, who stopped 15 of 16 shots for Fargo, upped his record to 10-0-0-0 with the win.
Green Bay 4, Tri-City 2
Box Score
Green Bay got goals from four different players and Adam Gajan was a stalwart between the pipes as Green Bay earned a 4-2 road win at Tri-City Saturday.
Artemi Nizameyev put the host Storm up 1-0 at 7:52 of the opening stanza, but after Ryan Humphrey scored a minute and a half later, the score stood 1-1 at the end of the first.
Ben Poitras put the Gamblers up 2-1 when he scored at 13:47 of the second.
Jayson Shaugabay made it 3-1 Green Bay at 2:17 of the third, but Tri-City pulled within one when Alex Bales scored a power play marker at 3:09. Williams Hughes had an empty netter at 19:17 to put the game away for the Gamblers.
Gajan stopped 30 of 32 shots as Green Bay upped its record to 15-6-1-0 and jumped into a tie with Dubuque at the top of the Eastern Conference standings with 31 points.
USA Hockey NTDP 5, Omaha 1
Box Score
Nick Kempf stopped 22 of 23 shots and five different players scored as USA Hockey NTDP claimed a 5-1 win at Omaha Saturday.
Max Plante scored on the power play and Brodie Ziemer scored a shorthanded marker as USA Hockey NTDP built a 2-0 first-period lead. Drew DellaSalla responded for Omaha before the end of the period to cut the lead to one.
Charlie Pardue and Lucas Van Vliet found the back of the net in the second period and Teddy Stiga's ninth goal of the year, which came on the power play at 19:57 of the third, closed out the scoring in the game.
Kempf upped his record on the season to 4-1-0-0 with the win.
Chicago 4, Madison 3 ot
Box Score
Charlie Major scored in overtime to lift the Chicago Steel to a 4-3 road win at Madison Friday night.
The two teams stood tied at the end of the first with Kolin Sisson scoring a highlight-reel goal for the Steel at 10:25 and Aiden Long scoring an unassisted marker for the Caps at 14:22.
It was more of the same in the second with Chicago going up 2-1 on a Michael Hage power play goal at 9:45 and Austin Burnevik replying for Madison at 16:34.
Major put the Steel up 3-2 at 5:11 of the third, but James Hong sent the game into overtime when he scored while Madison was a man short at 13:58.
Major ended it when he scored his second of the game at 0:58 of the overtime period.
Lincoln 7, Dubuque 4
Box Score
Blake Montgomery scored twice and assisted on another in helping lead Lincoln to a 7-4 win at Dubuque.
Dubuque's James Reeder scored the first two goals of the game, with the first coming just 15 seconds into the contest and his second just after the five-minute mark. Keaton Peters and Jack Pechar scored for the Stars before the end of the period and at the end of the first it was 2-2.
Ethan Weber put Lincoln up for the first time when he scored at 3:55 of the second, but Noah Powell knotted the score when he tallied his sixth of the year at 8:47. Juan Copeland recorded his first USHL goal at 14:54, but Adam Kleber's fourth goal of the season, which came at 15:19, put the Stars up 5-3. Reeder completed the hat trick when he scored his third goal of the game at 15:58 and at the end of the second, the score favored Lincoln. 5-4.
Montgomery closed out the game by scoring twice in the third period.
Sioux Falls 7, Cedar Rapids 1
Box Score
Christ Pelosi scored three times and John McNelis had two goals and an assist as Sioux Falls rolled to a 7-1 win at Cedar Rapids Friday.
Pelosi scored twice in the opening period to set the tone for the Stampede.
Jack Larrigan closed the gap to 2-1 with his fourth goal of the season coming at 1:26 of the second period. The Stampeded then proceeded to score five times in the next 18 minutes to break the game open. McNelis scored twice before Pelosi completed the hat trick at 11:05. Gennadi Chaly and Will McDonough also scored to put the game out of reach.
Michael Chambre stopped 18 of 19 shots in the game to get the decision. Sioux Falls upped its record to 12-8-1-1 for the year with the victory.
Action in the USHL continues Sunday with one game scheduled.
