EVERETT, Wash. - Carter Hart tied the franchise all-time shutout record while a third period goal by Patrick Bajkov moved him up the all-time scoring list as the Everett Silvertips returned home to defeat the Prince Albert Raiders, 2-0 before 2,864 fans at XFINITY Arena on Wednesday in WHL action.

Hart's 25 saves marked his second shutout of the season and 21st of his career, tied with Irving which also stands five behind the WHL record. Bajkov put the game away in the third period to record the 216th point of his Silvertips career, tied with Joshua Winquist on the Tips all-time points list.

Sean Richards scored his fifth goal in four games to put the Tips up in the second period, who beat the Raiders for the sixth straight time.

The Silvertips navigated through a physical 20 minutes to open the game and Montana Onyebuchi responded after a high hit with a fight on Prince Albert's Cody Paivarinta, leading to a five-minute Prince Albert power play that was thwarted in part by Hart, who stopped Jordy Stallard's wrister from between the circles.

Richards got the Tips ahead, 1-0 at 6:08 of the second period, taking Kevin Davis' lead pass and converting a snap shot from the left wing on a late two-on-one opportunity. The Silvertips squandered three more opportunities to extend the lead on power play chances, with several Ian Scott saves keeping Prince Albert in the thick of the game.

The Tips outshot Prince Albert, 20-8 in the second period and clamped on the Raiders to allow only four shots in the third period. Davis set up Patrick Bajkov for his 10th goal of the season to put the Tips up 2-0 with 5:33 left in regulation, when Bajkov danced around the Prince Albert defense and uncorked a snapper past Scott.

Hart, who was at his busiest of the game in the first period with 13 saves, extended his shutout streak to 124:40 and counting his appearance in the Canada-Russia Series has three shutouts in the last nine days.
