Prince Albert Raiders News Release

Everett, WA - The Prince Albert Raiders (9-8-3-0) were unable to solve goaltender Carter Hart on Wednesday night at the XFINITY Arena in a 2-0 loss to the Everett Silvertips (9-10-1-1).

Hart turned aside all 25 shots fired his way by the Raiders.

Both teams were held off the scoreboard in a physical opening period. Silvertips defenceman Montana Onyebuchi was given a five-minute major for charging and a game misconduct for his hit on Carson Miller. Cody Paivarinta was quick to stand up for his teammate, dropping the gloves with Onyebuchi.

In the second, Everett got the game's first goal. Sean Richards solved Ian Scott on a two-on-one rush 6:08 into the frame. Scott was impressive throughout the rest of the period, turning aside the other 19 shots he faced.

Everett extended their lead to two with 5:33 to play. Bajkov beat Scott to make it a 2-0 game.

Scott finished the game with 40 saves in a losing effort.

With just two games remaining on the road trip, the Raiders roll into Kennewick to face off against the Tri-City Americans on Friday night. Game time is 9:05 p.m. The next Raiders' home game is on Friday, November 24 against the Swift Current Broncos on 80s Night Presented By Canadian Tire. Tickets are available at raiderhockey.com.
