WHL Official Reagan Vetter Receives WHL Milestone Award

Saskatoon, Sask. - The Western Hockey League announced today WHL Official Reagan Vetter has been honoured with the WHL Milestone Award. Vetter was recognized by WHL Senior Director, Officiating Kevin Muench in a special ceremony prior to tonight's game between the Saskatoon Blades and Moose Jaw Warriors.

The WHL Milestone Award is presented to WHL players, coaches, trainers, officials and WHL Championship teams for their outstanding achievements.

Vetter, a 40-year-old native of Saskatoon, Sask., is a veteran of 20 WHL seasons, having worked six as a linesman and 14 as a referee. Over his career, he has skated in over 650 WHL regular season games, 11 WHL Conference Championships and seven WHL Championship Series. A career highlight, Vetter skated as a part of the officiating crew at the 2013 Mastercard Memorial Cup, hosted in his hometown of Saskatoon.

Away from the rink, Vetter has been a school teacher for the past 11 years. He is supported by wife Kristine, and daughters Neven and Quinn.
