
Everblades Hire Aldridge as Equipment Manager

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced the hiring of Rusty Aldridge as equipment manager for the 2009-10 season. Aldridge replaces Jason MacDonald who received a promotion to the Everblades NHL affiliate, the Florida Panthers, earlier this summer.
In 2008-09, he served in the same capacity for the Nanooks of Alaska Fairbanks of the Central Collegiate Hockey League. The Texas native brings 14 years of experience to the position having served stints in the Central Hockey League, Western Professional Hockey League and the ECHL, dating back to his first season with the Fort Worth Fire of the CHL in 1995-96. In 2005-06 Aldridge was part of a championship team in 2005-06 with the Laredo Bucks, claiming a President's Cup as champions of the Central Hockey League.
Aldridge and his wife Stacy reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado during the off season.
