
Evans Placed on Disabled List

SALT LAKE CITY (May 21, 2008) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has placed outfielder Terry Evans on the disabled list with a torn right labrum.
Evans, 26, has appeared in 26 games for the Bees in 2008, hitting .308 with nine doubles, two home runs and 14 RBI. The Dublin, Ga. native joined the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from St. Louis in a trade for Jeff Weaver on July 5, 2006. He made his major league debut as an Angel on June 17, 2007, registering a home run in his first at-bat.
