
Evan Pighin signs with the Bruins

Chilliwack BC - November 5, 2007: The Chilliwack Bruins are pleased to announce the signing of forward Evan Pighin. Pighin, a nineteen year old native of Vancouver, BC, is the current leader in BCHL scoring, having amassed 24 goals and 18 assists for 42 points in just 21 BCHL games this season for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
'Evan is a dynamic player who has been dominant this season in the BCHL,' comments General Manager Darrell May. 'We are very excited that Evan has committed to the Bruins and look forward to inserting him into our lineup immediately.'
Pighin, who will be wearing the #19, will join the Bruins immediately and should be available for selection as soon as tomorrow versus the Prince George Cougars.
