
Essian added to All-Star Team

Fort Worth outfielder Jim Essian was added to the Central League All-Star team on Monday. He will start in right field in place of San Angelo's Juan Rocha who was injured on Saturday night.
The Central League â Northeast League All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday night at 7:35 at LaGrave Field in Fort Worth.
Essian is batting .249 on the season with five homers 25 runs batted in. He currently ranks second in the league with 32 stolen bases. His .430 on base percentage is second in the CBL to his All-Star teammate Dan Meier.
Essian's selection brings the number of Cats on the All-Star team to four â pitchers Brandon Wood and Angel Aragon (injured) and catcher Jason Radwan join Essian among the All-Stars.
