Esks\' Maas and Spencer undergo off-season surgery

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos announced today that both quarterback Jason Maas and defensive lineman Randy Spencer have undergone surgery to repair shoulder injuries.

Surgeons repaired cartilage in Maas' right shoulder. Spencer underwent surgery on his right shoulder to repair cartilage and a partially torn rotator cuff.

"The procedures for both Jason and Randy went well and they're expected to make a complete recovery. They will begin rehab after Christmas with our training staff and be ready in time for training camp," said Eskimo Head Coach, Danny Maciocia.

Eskimo quarterback Jason Maas will be available to the media today at 2:00 pm at the Edmonton Eskimo administration office (9023-111 Avenue).
