Esks Acquire Jake Ceresna in Trade with Ottawa RedBlacks

February 5, 2018 - Canadian Football League (CFL) - Edmonton Eskimos News Release

Edmonton - The Edmonton Eskimos have acquired international defensive lineman Jake Ceresna from the Ottawa RedBlacks in exchange for international defensive lineman Odell Willis.

Ceresna entered the CFL this past season with Ottawa where he appeared in 14 games and recorded 18 tackles and two quarterback sacks.

Before arriving in the CFL, Ceresna spent time with the New York Jets in the NFL.

Ceresna attended Cortland University from 2013 - 2015 where he appeared in 33 games and recorded 142 tackles, 39.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
