Edmonton Elks News Release
(Edmonton) - In 2015 we were thrilled to be in Fort McMurray to participate in the "Northern Kickoff" and play in the Northernmost game in CFL history. Today, we announce the Eskimos will return to Fort McMurray on September 12 and 13, as part of the Edmonton Eskimos Community Tour, presented by Syncrude, which will take place in Fort McMurray and Anzac. This will mark the club's second community tour which hosts free flag football introductory camps, autograph sessions and meet and greets with current Eskimos players.
In total, eight elementary schools and approximately 340 students will participate in the invitational youth football camps led by Eskimos players: fullback Christophe Normand, linebacker Korey Jones, fullback Calvin McCarty and linebacker Blair Smith.
