Today, the SeaWolves look for their first road series win of the season as they take on the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) in the rubber game of a three-game series at Prince George's Stadium. Last night, the SeaWolves battled from two down, plating two in the seventh inning and winning the game in 12. It was the second time in three games that the âWolves have played an extra innings game. Erie improved to 8-5 in one-run games with last night's win...Erie is tied for fifth in the division, two games out of first place. The entire EL Western Division is separated by just two games...RIghty Mark Sorensen takes the mound today for the Howlers making his eighth start and third against the Baysox. Sorensen is 1-0 with a no-decision in his previous two starts against Bowie. Sorensen took a no-decision in his last start at Altoona on May 15. The right hander worked a season-best eight innings, allowing a run on five hits with no walks and three strikeouts. It was the first start that Sorensen has not allowed a walk. The right hander can tie L.J. Gagnier for the team lead in wins with a victory today...Lefty Rick Zagone takes the mound for Bowie making his seventh appearance and fifth start. Zagone has appeared three times against the SeaWolves, twice as a starter. He earned a win over the âWolves on April 21. His last appearance came in relief against the SeaWolves on May 7. He allowed two runs on six hits with no walks and two strikeouts in three innings of work.
- Bowie leads the 2011 season series over the SeaWolves 7-5. The SeaWolves and Baysox meet 21 times in 2011.
- Defensively, the SeaWolves have committed 40 errors which is fifth-most in the EL. The SeaWolves have not committed an error in six of their last nine games.
- The SeaWolves are 14-13 in night games and 4-8 in day games.
- Erie's pitching staff is 11th in the league with a 4.25 team ERA. The SeaWolves have given up 194 runs which is the most allowed in the league. Erie has issued 144 walks which is the most allowed in the EL.

- Erie's offense is fourth in the league with a .266 team batting average.
