----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a series win as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the final game of a four-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves had their seven-game road winning streak snapped by the Aeros in a 7-1 game. It was Erie's first road loss since June 12. The 'Wolves are now a game under .500 and nine back of first place Akron in the Western Division. Erie is 2.5 games behind second place Harrisburg...The SeaWolves send lefty Cesar Carillo to the mound making his second appearance and first start. The Tigers singed Carillo as a minor league free agent this June. In his first appearance against Binghamton on June 24, Carillo allowed a run on two hits with a walk and a strikeout in an inning of work. Carillo was originally a first round pick of the Padres in 2005...Righy Paolo Espino takes the mound for the Aeros making his 11th appearance and ninth start. Espino has won back-to-back games. In his last start against Altoona he allowed two runs on seven hits with two walks and eight strikeouts in 6.1 innings. Espino has appeared against the SeaWolves twice, once as a reliever and once as a starter and took no-decisions in both outings...The SeaWolves will continue the current road trip as they head to Harrisburg for a four-game series.
