Erie Goes 10 to Top Senators

Thursday night in Erie, the Senators dropped a 3-2 ballgame in 10 innings to the Erie SeaWolves. Harrisburg took a 2-1 lead into the bottom of the eighth inning, but Erie plated a run to tie the game, then scored in the 10 th to beat the Senators. Erie scored their run in the eighth after two walks to open the inning and scored the winning run in the tenth on a sacrifice fly. The Senators scored single runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Both teams had a runner thrown out at home.

THE BIG PLAY

Hao-Yu Lee hit a bases loaded flyball to the warning track in right field that was caught by Robert Hassell III, but it scored the winning run for Erie.

FILIBUSTERS

Harrisburg managed just three hits in the game... The Senators went 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position... Tyler Schoff tossed 1.2 scoreless innings and has gone 11.2 innings to start the season without allowing a run... Cole Henry started and tossed three scoreless innings... The walk-off loss was the second this season for the Senators.
