
Eric Lavigne hired as new Foreurs Head Coach

VAL-D'OR, Thursday, December 15, 2005 (QMJHL) The Val-d'Or Foreurs organization announced late today that Ãric Lavigne had agreed on a two and a half year contract to become the team's new Head Coach.
A Sorel native, he officially becomes the 7th Head Coach in Foreurs history. His first game behind the bench is next Friday night, as his new team travels to Victoriaville to face the Tigres.
Mr. Lavigne had been fired by the Quebec Remparts a few games into the current season after being with the team for nearly three years.
