
Oilers recall Sebastien Bisaillon

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Sebastien Bisaillon on an emergency basis from the Val d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Bisaillon's recall was made necessary when defenceman Ladislav Smid suffered brusied ribs in the Oilers 3-2 overtime loss versus the St. Louis Blues on March 18th.
The 6'0", 205-pound native of Mont-Laurier,Quebec signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Oilers on September 26, 2006. In 63 games with Val-d'Or, he has scored 12-40-52 to rank 12th in scoring among QMJHL defencemen and is sixth on the Foreurs roster. He has registered 30 penalty minutes and is +4 with 10 powerplay goals and one game-winning goal.
Bisaillon is in his fifth season with the Foreurs and the 20-year-old blueliner has scored 66-123-189 in 263 career QMJHL games with 194 penalty minutes. He scored a career-high 71 points in 63 games in 2005-06 to fifth in scoring among QMJHL defencemen and he led all blueliners with his 35 goals.
