Elmira Enforcers News Release
Port Huron, MI - This weekend was all about new blood injecting into the Enforcers line up and with two victories over the Prowlers it seemed to work. The Enforcers won Saturday night 7-2 over the Prowlers as they finished off their season long 6 game road trip.
Elmira struck three times in the first period to jump ahead 3-0 over the Prowlers. Starting with a goal off the opening faceoff from Cal Miska the Enforcers were off and running with follow up goals from Cameron Yarwood and Sean Reynolds. Unlike last night though the Prowlers answered back with goals from Dalton Jay and Austin Fetterly 1:14 apart to bring them within one.
The second period would take on a very different feeling as the Enforcers put up four more goals including a shorthanded goal by Dmytro Babenko and a second goal from Sean Reynolds coming on the power play. Mike Chemello and Brandon Vuic put up a goal apiece as well to bring the score to 7-2.
The third period was a slow moving crawl to the finish line as the clock ticked down to the Enforcers first weekend sweep of an opponent.
The Enforcers next stop is their home opener at 7:05 pm on Friday November 16that First Arena against the Carolina Thunderbirds. Less than 500 tickets remain for that game! Get on to tickets.com or ElmiraEnforcers.com to secure yours now!
