
Energy FC Travels to Peoria to Face Arizona United SC

OKLAHOMA CITY - Energy FC returns to action Saturday evening against the Arizona United SC from the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Ariz. Match time is 9 p.m. and the game airs online via YouTubeLive and can be heard locally on 96.1 FM KXY. Saturday marks the USL PRO debut for the Arizona United. Energy FC is 1-1-0 in its inaugural season. The team split its opening weekend games against the Orange County Blues (W, 2-0) and LA Galaxy II (L, 4-2).
Energy FC forward Kyle Greig was named USL PRO's Player of the Week for week three, as he scored the first goal in club history to lead his side to a 2-0 win against Orange County. Greig opened the scoring for the Energy in the 11th minute against the Blues. He was joined on the team of the wEeek by teammate Tarek Morad, who had a strong first professional game at center back.
Following this weekend's contest against Arizona, Energy FC returns home for its season opener on Saturday, April 26.

Energy FC is led by former Sporting Kansas City goaltender and 2013 MLS Cup champion, Jimmy Nielsen. Nielsen was a two-time MLS All Star, the 2012 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, and goalkeeper for the 2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open championship club.
