Iowa Wolves News Release

Des Moines, IA, June 24, 2010 - The Iowa Energy may gain some insight into their 2010-11 roster tonight as the Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns, both affiliates of the Energy, hold three selections in tonight's NBA Draft.

Chicago holds the 17th pick in the 1st round while Phoenix holds the 46th and 60th selections in the draft. Both of Phoenix's selections are in the 2nd round.

"Last year we saw Earl Clark and Taylor Griffin from the Suns spend some time in Des Moines. There is a real chance that any of the three selections made by the Bulls and Suns could end up here in Iowa, but a lot depends on where those players fit into their current rosters," said Energy General Manager Chris Makris. "We will be watching closely as we might get some hints for next year."

NBA rules allow rookies and second-year players to be assigned to the NBA D-League. In addition, players selected in the draft who do not make the NBA team have their rights automatically held by their D-League affiliate if they sign with the D-League.
