End-Of-Season 'Soccer Ball' to Benefit LouCity & Racing Foundation
June 23, 2022 - National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
Racing Louisville FC News Release
The LouCity & Racing Foundation will on Sept. 28 host the clubs' inaugural "Soccer Ball," an occasion to toast the teams as their seasons wind down and fundraise for the charitable arm of Soccer Holdings, LLC.
This represents an opportunity to hear from Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC coaches and players, plus see some of the teams' standouts on and off the field honored for their contributions to our community.
The Soccer Ball will take place at the Louisville Marriott Downtown, 280 W. Jefferson Street. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a cocktail reception before the dinner and program follow at 7 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale for individuals or tables of 10 at loucityracing.givesmart.com. Those interested in sponsorship should contact Jeremy Jarvi, the foundation's executive director, at jjarvi@loucity.com.
"The Soccer Ball will give all fans the chance to celebrate our beloved teams while supporting the newly launched foundation," Jarvi said. "Together, we can invest in kids and provide opportunities and exposure to soccer."
The LouCity & Racing Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, operates with a vision to improve the lives of youth throughout the region through soccer. That means removing barriers to access to the beautiful game, which in turn will create positive health, social and academic outcomes for area children.
Lance McGarvey, public address announcer at Lynn Family Stadium, will emcee the Soccer Ball. A keynote speaker will be announced later.
Visit LouCity.com/foundation or RacingLouFC.com/foundation for more information on the clubs' charitable efforts.
