
"Empress Your Ride" And Scholarship Winners Announced

BILOXI, Miss. â The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that the grand prize winner for the First Annual Empress Audio "Empress Your Ride" is Harrison Central High School student Sam Lee, who won the $5,000 Monster Car Stereo System from Empress Audio.
Ocean Springs High School was awarded $4,000 in scholarships to the University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf Coast Community College and Tougaloo College, which was funded by Sawyer Real Estate President Lenny Sawyer.
In addition, Lauren Sheperd from St. Martin High School won the $2,000 scholarship to the University of Southern Mississippi.
Throughout the season, high school band students performed during intermissions at Sea Wolves home games.
The Mississippi Sea Wolves would like to give a special thanks to St. Martin, Ocean Springs, Harrison Central, Gautier, Pascagoula and D'Iberville High Schools for participating and making this event a huge success.
The Sea Wolves get back into action at home tomorrow for Game 2 of the Kelly Cup Playoffs at 8:35 p.m. CT tomorrow against the Gwinnett Gladiators. The game is the only game of the series to be held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Gwinnett leads the best-of-five American Conference Quarterfinals, 1 game to 0.
