
Emeralds Recapture Series Lead against Everett

The Emeralds put an end to their losing streak with a 6-3 victory over the Everett Aquasox.
Everett attacked the scoreboard first on a solo home run by C Andy Thomas to get on the board 1-0.
The Aquasox were able to attach another run on the board on an RBI single by 3B Cole Barr in the second to increase their lead 2-0.
First runs of the game for the Emeralds came on an RBI groundout by 2B Simon Whiteman to drive in 3B Carter Aldrete and a three-run home run by RF Hunter Bishop in the second 4-2.
In the fourth inning, Bishop would come back to the plate and hit a sacrifice fly to score 1B Robert Emerey 5-2.
A solo home run by Thomas would cut the deficit down to two runs in the sixth 5-3.
The Emeralds scored the run back on a solo home run by SS Casey Schmitt to finish the game in the seventh 6-3.
The Emeralds will need to win tomorrow to seal the series victory and hang onto their series wins streak as they will throw RHP Landen Roupp, who will be making his High-A Eugene debut. First pitch is at 7:05 PM, 6:50 pregame show on 95.3 The Score and MiLB.TV.
