Ottawa 67's News Release
OTTAWA - Perennial REDBLACKS 1,000-yard receiver Greg Ellingson has been named to the 2017 CFL All-Star team, the league announced Tuesday.
Ellingson set a career high in 2017 with 1,459 receiving yards on 96 catches to go along with 12 touchdowns. It's third time in as many years since signing with Ottawa that Ellingson has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark.
Ellingson is the lone REDBLACKS player named to an all-star squad dominated by the West Division, with the rest of the team made up of Calgary Stampeders (six players), Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (five each) and BC Lions (one). The only other East players came from the Argonauts, who saw three players named all-stars.
