EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks have released six players, the club announced Thursday.

All six players appeared in games for Edmonton last season, combining for 51 games in 2022. Among the cuts were veterans Duron Carter, Treston Decoud and Tony Washington.

Carter and Washington both missed significant time due to injuries in 2022, appearing in 19 games combined for the Double E. Decoud started in all 18 games, mostly at halfback, recording 41 tackles and one sack.
