EDMONTON - The Edmonton Elks announced the release of 11 players on Tuesday, as the team continues preparations for the 2022 season under new general manager and head coach Chris Jones.
10 of the 11 players suited up for the Elks in 2021, including eight Americans and two nationals.
CFL free agency opens February 8, while Edmonton's pre-season schedule opens May 27 on the road against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
