Eli Pemberton Named to USA Basketball Men's World Cup Qualifying Roster

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Santa Cruz Warriors guard Eli Pemberton has been named to the November 2022 USA Basketball Men's World Cup Qualifying Roster.

Pemberton has started the first two games for the Santa Cruz Warriors during the NBA G League Showcase Cup averaging 10.0 points in 16.1 minutes while shooting 69.2 percent from the field. During the 2021-22 season with the Warriors, the guard averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 25.4 minutes per game.

Coached by Jim Boylen, the USA squad will participate in the fifth competition window of the 2021-23 FIBA World Cup Qualifying games. The United States will play Brazil on Friday, November 11 at 4pm EST and Columbia on Monday, November 14 at 7pm EST.
