
El Paso wins 5-4 over Sports

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but came up a run short as El Paso won 5-4. Justin Humphrey had a two-run double in the ninth to pull the Sports to within a run, but Adam Hale was called out on strikes to end the game. Richard Quihuis-Bell led the Sports with four hits while Ron Fenwick chipped in with three hits, but the Sports left ten runners stranded in losing their fourth straight. The final game of the series between Shreveport and El Paso will be Sunday at 2:05 with the broadcast on AM 1130, KWKH.
